Declaration of Sentiments
This particular article was by the infamous Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Times have certainly changed in the past century and we should all be greatful for it. Elizabeth talked about how a woman's worth was hardly anything, unless she owned land, and still her worth was minimal in the eyes of society. It's so fabulous that women like Ms. Stanton had the guts to write such a peice in times when women were not considered valuable in everyday life. It just goes to show that everyone has a voice, and there will be someone that will one day listen. That was totally cliche, but from the heart.
